Why a Lantern Art Expo?

This year's theme for the Apex World Culture & Art Expo (AWCAE) is the "Chang'an Lantern Festival," chosen to celebrate the 45th anniversary of US-China relations. A lantern art expo is the perfect medium to illuminate the rich cultural heritage of China while creating a unique cultural fusion with American traditions.

Lantern festivals have a long and vibrant history in Chinese culture, symbolizing joy, hope, and unity. By bringing the Chang'an Lantern Festival to the US, we aim to share this rich tradition with a wider audience, fostering cultural appreciation and understanding.

Incorporating elements of the American celebration of Halloween adds a delightful twist to our expo. The creative fusion of Chinese lantern art with Halloween's playful and imaginative spirit creates a unique experience that honors both cultures. Visitors will enjoy a spectacular display of artistic lanterns, each telling a story of tradition, innovation, and cultural harmony.

This event is presented by the Carissa & Harry Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and understanding. It is executed by AWCAE, ensuring a seamless blend of cultural heritage and contemporary celebration.

• Where is the exhibition held? How big is the area? Is parking convenient?

  It is located at Santa Anita Park, Los Angeles, California, USA. The whole exhibition area has a total area of about 750,000 square feet, about 10,000 parking areas, and about 350,000 square feet of lights and booths.

• What are the specific dates and opening hours of the exhibition?

  The lantern art expo will be open from October 18th to November 17th, 2024 (Friday-Sunday) from 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 11:30 p.m. The third week will last for 5 days (Thursday?Sunday), from October 30 to November 3rd, to incorporate the celebration of Halloween.

• How many booths are there and how big is the area?

  Merchandise:100, food&Beverage:140, booth area 10' x 10'

• In addition to booth fees, exhibitors also need to apply and register fees? How is the cost calculated?

  For fee information, please contact our staff and they will provide you with a detailed fee breakdown according to your needs.

• Do you have a professional team to help us deal with visa, air ticket and accommodation issues? Is there a local pick-up or guide service?

  There are professional teams responsible for site layout, technical equipment management, safety and health, transportation and accommodation. Resolve field emergencies and communicate with local service providers.

• How long in advance do I need to prepare and when do I get in?

  Visa application and product transportation will be started 3 months in advance, and the personnel can arrive 3 days in advance according to the time of their products' exhibition week.

• If there are any problems during the shipment of our goods to your company, how should we solve them?

  Product transportation will inevitably have problems, but the probability is small, so exhibitors transport goods to buy insurance and insurance.

• What are the requirements for the type of goods to be exhibited? What are the limits of commodity price range? What benefits from attending your exhibition?

  Consumer goods, intangible cultural heritage products or cultural derivative products are our main recommended product types, if you have a better idea, welcome to contact us to negotiate.
